Store Information
New parts and sets have never been assembled or played with. They come from newly purchased sets, the LEGO Store Pick-A-Brick Wall, or other trusted sellers. New sets could have damage to the box from being on retail store shelves. New parts could still show damage and wear from bumping into other parts in the bags that they are package in or while being stored on the wall.
We always minimize handling new parts and sets. This ensures that they will maintain a better condition than used parts and sets. When required, specific damage or issues will be clearly identified with written descriptions and/or photographs of the individual parts or boxes.
USED PARTS AND SETS
Used means used!!! Our used parts come from sets that we have assembled, sets that have been played with, or from bulk lots that we have obtained to resell. This means that the parts may have some scratches, nicks, cuts, gouges, and/or color variations.
Our used sets are gathered from the sets that we have assembled or from the used parts that we have in stock. They may be packaged in polybags or ziplock bags. They may include actual instruction manuals or printed pages for parts inventory and assembly. Any items that are included or missing from these sets and the descriptions of manuals will be clearly identified with written descriptions and/or photographs.
All used parts are cleaned and allowed to dry prior to sorting.
During our sorting process, we do our best to find excessively damaged and discolored parts. We also look for part variations and for any parts that are NOT authentic LEGO. When found, any part that does NOT meet our standards are segregated and handled as specified in our terms. Any segregated parts may be listed separate from our general inventory listings or on websites outside of Brick Owl.
If segregated parts are listed separate from our general inventory listings, then the specific damage or issues will be clearly identified with written descriptions and/or photographs of the individual parts.
Do NOT expect stickers that are applied to used LEGO pieces to be perfect, straight, or exactly centered. As with segregated parts, issues with stickers will be clearly identified with written descriptions and/or photographs of the individual parts.
MINIFIGURES
Minifigures are considered parts. They are NEW or USED and may have Part Variations. We may sell Minifigures as parts or as a whole depending on the circumstance.
Used Minifigures that are sold as a whole will usually be assembled and placed into a small polybag when being listed. New Minifigures may have individual parts placed into the small polybag or may be assembled.
Minifigure variations will be clearly identified with written descriptions and/or photographs of the individual Minifigures. However, we do NOT differentiate between Minifigure head stud types when the Minifigures are listed.
PART VARIATIONS
Parts may include slight color or molding variations from the manufacturing process. If a part has a different mold variation then we will do our best to sort them in the same manner that Brick Owl does.
Sometimes it is difficult to ensure that colors are identical when listing inventory (especially with small Technic pieces). For example, a "Light Gray" may get mixed in with a "Light Bluish Gray" bin or vice-versa. We try to minimize this but mistakes can happen.
Our ultimate goal with this process is that you receive the same part that you ordered based on the stock photos that may be used to identify parts. Also, we want you to receive matching parts if more than one part is ordered. If this does NOT happen, please contact us to reach a resolution.
PHOTOS AND DESCRIPTIONS
We will use stock photos for general NEW and USED inventory items.
If we sell items that have discrepancies or part variations we will use written descriptions and/or photographs of the individual parts to specify the issues.
If we have properly done our job as a seller then there will NOT be a reason to send any specific photos to the buyer. However, please ask questions about our listings if more details about our parts are needed.
PAYMENT
PayPal is the only payment method currently accepted.
Payment must be received within 5 days of being invoiced.
If payment is NOT received within 5 days, we will make one attempt to contact you and wait and additional 2 days for your response.
If payment is NOT received after the 7 days specified above, a "Non-Paying Buyer Alert (NPB)" will be completed AND the order will be cancelled.
RETURNS
If parts are NOT received as specified, or if the buyer is generally NOT satisified, we will work with the buyer to reach an acceptable resolution.
If returns are required, the buyer will be responsible for return shipping. There will be NO restocking fee and the cost of the items will be refunded through the original payment method (PayPal) once they are received and evaluated.
Evaluation of returned products may take up to 5 business days.
FEEDBACK
Our goal is to maintain positive feedback for the buyer AND seller. Ultimately, we want to correct any problems and have the opportunity for everyone to earn positive feedback. Communication MUST occur for this to happen AND for problems to be resolved.
Please contact us If you receive items that are NOT correct or that you are NOT satisified with so that the issue can be resolved. Also, we will contact you if issues or discrepancies need to be resolved from our side.
Feedback for orders will be given once the transaction is complete. This means that items have been ordered, paid, packed, shipped, received, problems (if any) resolved.
DISCREPANCIES
Our error rate is very low, however, from time-to-time we may make mistakes with sorting, identifying, or listing parts. You will be notified if our inventory is incorrect OR if other issues are discovered with parts during order processing. This will generally result in a refund being issued to the original payment method (PayPal) for the parts in question.
